Locating Services
Welcome to CONTACT's Search Page! By clicking on the top tabs, you have two options to look for information; Search & Advanced Search.
Enter the word or subject in the Search Box and then click on "SUBMIT" to find general topics located in our database.
You will also be able to perform 'wild card' searches. By placing a '%' symbol on the end of your search [(e.g.) Vet% - short for Veteran], the search tool will retrieve the results from the whole database with this reference.
The Advanced Search identifies the index headings and sub headings. Drop boxes are included in each field, just click on the desired selection for first box,wait... click on the next field, the sub-category, choose the region of the province you want to search and then click on 'SUBMIT'. NB - The mapping application is only available for the Winnipeg region.
A listing of agencies will appear (please note the number of records found from your search; you will have to click on each page selection for the complete listings of your search) By clicking on the desired organization/program, a full description will appear. You may click on 'map' and it will place the agency on a map for you. This unique option will locate the agency for you in the Winnipeg vicinity and you will have the option of zooming in or out. The map will also be available as a one page print out, along with the organization/program name, address and phone number.
